Elena Kagan More Favorable to Islam and Sharia Law Than U.S. Military

I know: since when did we expect liberals to be consistent?

Still, it strikes me as rather odd that President Obama’s U.S. Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan would try to bar military recruiters and ROTC from the Harvard campus over the the fact that homosexual conduct is considered incompatible with military service, yet would welcome a center for Islamic studies (and $20 million) from Saudi Arabian Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz.

The astute observer of history and current events will note that Islam and Sharia Law is not only extremely harsh toward homosexuality (as it is harsh toward pretty much everything under the sun), as well as treats women like mongrel dogs.

From Fox News:

On Wednesday, during a speech on the Senate floor, Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, noted Harvard University accepted a $20 million gift from Saudi Arabian Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz in 2005 that was used to establish a center for Islamic Studies in his honor.

Sessions cited an Obama State Department report that noted that homosexual acts are a crime in Saudi Arabia under Sharia law and punishable by death or flogging.

At around the same time the university was accepting the gift, Kagan, as dean of the Harvard Law School, was actively seeking to exclude military recruiters from the campus for banning gays from serving openly in the military.

SNIPPET: “Sens. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and George S. LeMieux of Florida made their comments a day after one of the court’s conservative icons, Justice Antonin Scalia, undercut Republican criticism of Kagan’s lack of a judicial background.”

SNIPPET: “Scalia last week volunteered that he considers Kagan a friend.””

Sounds like the author hasnt spent much time among academics during the last 20 years. This kind of attitude is more common than not among faculty on elite campuses.

Sickening, but getting worse, not better.

Wasn’t this the same Saudi that funded Obama’s studies at U of Chicago?

They’ve never read the story about Dr. Frankenstein and the monster he created but lost control of.

“For those who are still wondering if 0 is a Muslim or not they should have the answer by now.”

Obama said in his book that he would protect Muslims (in so many words).

Sharia Law which kills gays is OK.

U.S. Military, not OK.

As Dean of the Law School, it wasn’t in her authority to accept or reject a donation to the University as a whole...

We can still say she didn’t speak out against it, of course. She surely had some influence.

I am sure we could raise enough money here to fly her tot he middle east so she can partake in the great islamic and arabic tribal cultural experiance of “Female Circumscision” so she can better understand the women of that region.

I wonder what her lover will think of this when she gets back, will she be shocked that her partner now has all the sensitivity of block of granite in her privates?

I wonder what the L-word community thinks of this?

“Simple;

The whole reason they think this is becasue Christianity is the “Low Hanging Fruit of Religions” in that you can insult it all day and even if the Pope comes out against it it there are no consequences of you head and torso parting ways. They think that once they have power they can Neuter the Mohamedans the same way they have the Christians...

They have not a finly tuned survival insticnt. I know of only one person who is gay and who is really concerned about the ROP and it’s impact on her rights. The rest are mindless sheep puppets of the Marxist Establishment who are worse than lemmings.
