Hayworth needs to spell out clearly why McCain can’t be trusted and why he is the better choice. He trails in the polls and is going to need to hit one out of the park to turn this election.
Here’s hoping that JD puts down McCain and his liberalism.
Correct.
Deakin is going to be there?? This guy needs to drop out.
I saw him last year at our Rep. Picnic and he couldn’t string two sentences together. I saw him two months ago and, granted, he was better. But if he splits the conservative vote and hands the no
Omarion to McCain, we will never forgive him. He will have no future in Rep. Politics here I Az, so I have to question his motives. He is really disliked in some quarters.
It will be a measurement of how seriously McCain views Hayworth’s challenge. If he attacks hard then you can bet internals are showing Hayworth is a threat. If he doesn’t attack Hayworth it means his team feels comfortable.
Finally!
Will this be on TV state wide?
If it's not, it apparently will be broadcast live over the Internet at azfamily.com.
Is that 7PM Arizona time??
I would presume so.
Conservative hopeful Jim Deakin?
Oh, no, they didn't...
Ditto that! This is JD's best chance to knock his block off.
Spend some of your debate time, JD, reading past McShame statements that are 180 degrees contradictory to what he is saying in campaign season.
Then turn to the cameras and ask the voters which McShame they think they’ll be getting come January if they reelect the old fraud.
It’s going to be civil and noneventful
How many times will JD say something about McLame’s “service to his country” BS?
I hope I’m wrong but don’t think so
JD should also point out that he and Deakin agree on some basic issues which is true. Deakin is working out of McCain's back pocket and doesn't even realize that he is John McCain's bait. Deakin will puff up like a peacock when McCain pretends to give him importance.
McCain knows Deakin cannot possibly win so he will use him in the debate to try to siphon off JD votes to Deakin and the little "bulldog" will eat it up!
Correct on every front!
Knowing how the people of AZ feel about immigration, I’m shocked when I see the polls showing McCain way ahead of Hayworth, and it convinces me we are beyond hope.
As of the latest poll 43 per cent want dems to control congress and 45 per cent want republicans. That number is sickening.
I talked with some after a McCain Town Hall here in Sun City West and they will swear that McCain has now finally seen the light and believe that his “campaign conservatism” is real. They will argue that McCain is honest and he wouldn’t think of lying. It is this kind of naivete that is showing “cross the aisle” McCain so high in the polls.
