I blame our gov. way more than I blame Wall St. for the financial mess.

Any “triumph” for Obama is a defeat for the citizens of America.

Oh lord, we beseech thee, preserve us from further
Democrat “victories”. Amen.

Just another Comunist takeover by Obama and his suck butt Democrats.

If we have any hopes for the survival of the United States we must remove the present Congress.

When will the populous come to the realization that the government is the enemy and not our friend?

Wall Street has it's moments, however without government interference those moments are fewer and much shorter.

They are in cahoots. Bet on it.

Once government gets involved in anything, work of the people starts to dissipate and government "business" begins it's growth.

Presently we have the party of "cahoots" in power.

“Triumph” in the same sense as being proud of a boil.

At least as far back as the creation of the Fed Reserve, have the two been as one. Since the formation of the IMF (1944) the Fed, IMO, has been used as a conduit to *redistribute* US wealth.

Yeah, because Wall Street made everyone buy a house they couldn’t afford with an adjustable-rate mortgage. Thanks for steering me straight, AP.

The Federal Reserve will have to set new limits on the fees banks charge merchants who accept debit cards. Retailers, who would stand to save billions in payments, would be able to offer customers reduced prices for debit card use. Banks said the limits could simply shift costs to other banking products.

So after banning cash discounts for years, the feds will continue to ban cash discounts but permit debit discounts? You gotta love government thinking. Though it still amazes me how few business people know where the line is when it is cheaper for them to use debit vs credit. Millions of Mom and Pop businesses have no clue. When I ran a store, with the merchant agreement we had, it was $23.22. Below that number, it was cheaper to swipe as a credit card.

When 80% derive some of their living off taxpayers, as I heard is happening right now in America and 50% pay taxes, until we recognize this individually, it will not turn from heading rapidly to socialism. Way too many households are spending out of control and do not care if they dump their purchases back onto banks (homes/cars, etc.) and consumers (credit card purchases and counterfeit $$).

We are once again repeating Biblical teachings that end in ruin and we’ve got far more inhabitants on Earth who have money and possessions as their god versus God.

Those like myself who strive for personal financial freedom at any cost are the only ones who can survive these times and not succumb to the song of the socialist.

Although I am semi-poor, my total tax burden is still just shy of 60%.

Still, living a prudent life and preparing for a rainy day has been beneficial.

Redistribution of wealth is a socialist way to destroy charitable organizations and freedom to choose ones charity.

The sad part is one can't look back at the good deed, for government has destroyed the wealth it has taken away AND leaving many with a sense that charity isn't effective or worth the effort.

Apologies for the ramble..

With redistribution also comes loss of personal freedom.

It can not be any other way.

The Federal Reserve was a Wilson promotion and doing was it not?

“With redistribution also comes loss of personal freedom.”

The IMF/World bank have destroyed countries both economically and through genocide.

Such a triumph.

The chief SEnate architect says he doesn't know how it will actually turn out, but it's a triumph.
