What’s fixed in my memory was this Sunday show on CNN with Bob Novak, RIP, Al Hunt (the WSJ editorial page’s House Democrat), and this Shields guy, who I think ruined the old “Evans and Novak” show after he took over for Evans. Novak would agonize week after week about Dole’s inability to pick a vice presidential candidate, or to decide on a message to run on. One Sunday Novak got going again on Dole’s indecision and Hunt started razzing him about it. I recall Novak, red faced, pulling his jacket over his head and sliding down in his chair.

The poll consensus had Dole trailing Clinton by 16% at election time. Zogby had Clinton up by “only” 8% and that probably made Zogby’s reputation.

“Well, guess what! White men are the ones who need a lawyer.”

Yeah. Liberal activists are usually out looking for a “friendly” judge and prosecutor to go after someone like Scooter Libby, Tom De Lay, or Casper Weinberger on some specious charge, and conservatives need a lawyer to protect themselves from being sacrificed to the “greater good” gods.

Glenn Beck is entertaining as well as educational. He is also an exceptional gentleman compared to Michael Savage. Not that I dislike Savage. Even when he starts screaming, he is still right about 99% of the time.

You might like Andrew Wilkow - he's on Sirius/XM, but I think he streams off his website at wilkowmajority.com - maybe.

I listen to him sometimes when Rush has a substitute on (I won't say which one I skip).

It’s just like amnesty, they think that because they don’t call a particular process amnesty or death panels than the processes aren’t amnesty or death panels.

Never forget McCain on Rush explaining how the immigration reform he was supporting would work and then insisting it wasn’t amnesty, even though millions of people had just heard him describing amnesty.
