McCain insults hard-working, honest Arizonans (again)

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/12155322/

(snip)

McCain responded by saying immigrants were taking jobs nobody else wanted. He offered anybody in the crowd $50 an hour to pick lettuce in Arizona.

Shouts of protest rose from the crowd, with some accepting McCain’s job offer.

“I’ll take it!” one man shouted.

McCain insisted none of them would do such menial labor for a complete season. “You can’t do it, my friends.”

Some in the crowd said they didn’t appreciate McCain questioning their work ethic.

Hayworth responded to McCain's attacks by stating, "If you had told the truth about Barack Obama the way you're spreading falsehoods about me, you might be president of the United States right now."

That was one of my favorite lines in the debate.

lol for 50 bucks an hour I would pick lettuce until my hands bled... What’s with this- “Americans wouldn’t lower themselves to this kind of work” garbage?
I suppose maybe if I were a member of the ruling class like McStain it would be inconceivable.
