FULL TRANSCRIPT & VIDEOS: USDA SHIRLEY SHERROD, NAACP, BREITBART
First are the excerpt videos released by Andrew Breitbart. Transcripts and timeline have been added. Once the NAACP released the full video of their March event, Breitbart published the full video as well. The NAACP full video proved that Breitbart videos were continuous excerpts of Sherrod’s speech without being cut and edited as many in the press are reporting. FoxNews has also provided a timeline of their coverage. (video, report)

Sherrod’s so-called redemption or revelation (that it is not about blacks vs. whites) was included in the first video released by Breitbart.

Shirley Sherrod: “The first time I was faced with having to help a white farmer save his farm, he — he took a long time talking, but he was trying to show me he was superior to me. I know what he was doing. But he had come to me for help. What he didn’t know while he was taking all that time trying to show me he was superior to me, was I was trying to decide just how much help I was going to give him. [audience chuckled]
I was struggling with the fact that so many black people have lost their farmland, and here I was faced with having to help a white person save their land. So, I didn’t give him the full force of what I could do. I did enough so that when he — I — I assumed the Department of Agriculture had sent him to me, either that or the — or the Georgia Department of Agriculture. And he needed to go back and report that I did try to help him.
So I took him to a white lawyer that we had — that had…attended some of the training that we had provided, ’cause Chapter 12 bankruptcy had just been enacted for the family farmer. So I figured if I take him to one of them that his own kind would take care of him.

That’s when it was revealed to me that, ya’ll, it’s about poor versus those who have, and not so much about white — it is about white and black, but it’s not — you know, it opened my eyes, ’cause I took him to one of his own…”

If I have to read one more time, in one more place that Breitbart "heavily edited" what he broadcast ...AAARRRRGGH!! An excerpt is not an edit!! They say it as though he was cutting this bit and pasting that bit of video!!

And oh, by the way (to the FReepers who continue to use this language that the woman had some moment of enlightenment):

She didn't help him, as so many keep claiming, she directed him elsewhere. And "to one of his own" is as racist as 0bama's "typical white person" reference to grandma. These two are racists by their own mouths, not by any newsie broadcasting it for us.
