I think this is a bit of kabuki theater going on to fool us. The Dem Party which “hates whitey” and wants to “kill cracker babies” are creating a little show for us.
Rangel probably stole millions, will leave with his pension and it will show Obama can be tough on blacks. BS.

There are dozens of black and Hispanic Democrat politicians in Rangel's district who would cut each other up for Rangel's seat - if he should resign.
This Betty Sutton announcement is probably just a trial balloon on the part of the White House. Now they are going to see how much or how little support it gets from the rest of the House Democrats.

I agree. Calls for resignation are totally engineered and controlled. At least, for now.
Charlie Rangle is so crooked he has to screw his socks on. He is the poster boy for why we must have term limits for all congress critters.
My bet is he cops some kind of deal where he resigns, escapes prosecution, pays back taxes on $75k and retires with full benefits to his Carribbean snake den.
