We’ve seen it time and again in Washington (and in our states)where these lifelong political hacks who’ve become pampered and pompous and accustomed to living on the dole and spending other peoples money bend the rules for themselves.

Every now and then one finally gets caught in the cookie jar. The exception is they get exposed and caught not that they don’t do it. The longer they are in office the more they feel entitled. As a group they feel entitled and they’ve often covered for each other.

I’m all for term limits to keep them fresh and idealistic instead of entrenched and corrupt. Congress is one place where seniority is not better for America.

HEAR, HEAR! Seniority is fine - just FRESH seniority with the seniority having been earned in industry, commerce and the like - where people have to EARN their keep - unlike these moronic ignoramuses that are, as you say, pompous, arrogant, feeling entitled.

Paul Akers, a very successful businessman running for US Senate in WA State, referred to the intention of the Founding Fathers to have citizen servants go to DC and then return home. HEAR, HEAR!!
