President Obama, who just a few weeks ago said he doesn't have time for TV "theater," will appear on ABC's "The View" Thursday. The show claims it is the first time a sitting president has done daytime TV.
It follows a pattern of this presidency I've described often here as: When the going gets rough, the president goes on TV -- often in entertainment venues that guarantee he wil;l be celebrated and can control his message. This visit looks like a direct response bto the criticism he has received for his administration firing USDA worker Shirley Sherrod last week.

When I’m within ten miles of this show, I head for the hills or plug up my ears. I cannot STAND this shrill hen party (with the exception of Elizabeth, of course). The unctuousness of these women toward B.O. will be nauseating.

You can always count on a photo op for this loser president of ours when Rasmussen numbers hit -20. The Photo ops work as it increases his strongly approve base....for about 7 to 10 days...
HOwever, we’ve noticed that the numbers are resetting higher each time....
THe bounce he’ll get will be to drop him to -14 or -15....
Then he’ll be back up in the -20s.
AS soon as we get another crisis....the one I’m expecting is a terrorist attack on our soil, then this guy will drop further.
Mark my words, when his number hit -24 and above....then we’ll see the press on him....and anything will be fair game...
The end point will be the birth certificate issue.

I hope the pubs are watching to see if this is going to be an hour long campaign add for the demons and if it does they should be prepared to sue for equal time.
