The A-Pee puff piece had a picture from Getty Images so I substituted more appropriate one which didn't have copyright restrictions.

Kagan's nomination to a lifetime seat on the nation's highest court has garnered relatively little notice this summer, with the public and elected officials preoccupied by bad economic news and the Gulf oil spill, and many lawmakers nervously eyeing the November midterm congressional elections.

These clymers in the media continually take chutzpah to record levels. They minimize or ignore anything about the RATS and then proclaim how no one cares or notices.

Kagan has attained one of 0’s goals - a lifetime appointment to a prestigious, highly compensated position, without ever having to prove your competence, only because you’re entitled to it because you are a (fill in the blank).

I could just puke.

the republicans are putting on a faux fight and are not actually fighting this.

Kagan is an insane law professor type. You never want a law professor near anything that affects reality they have no clue.

"4th-ever woman?" How many more before we don't have to do the celebration?

(Conservatives just choose the best man or woman with no fuss over identity politics.)

Senate to confirm Kagan as court's 4th first-ever woman completely inexperienced, unqualified and unfit Supreme Court Justice.

Fixed it.

Good photo Zak! It may be more true than many think.

That truth is revealed here, a great read:

http://www.americanthinker.com/2009/05/barack_obama_the_quintessentia_1.html

If confirmed, she can be impeached, and there are already grounds for that in her record.

Our greatest hope is that sanity and Constitutionality returns soon to this country, and the Illegal Occupant who was NEVER eligible to hold the Office of the President will be found ineligible, all Laws enacted and Appointments enacted by him are ruled null and void. Removal of two Liberal Activist/Socialists that were appointed to the USSC (Sotomayer and Kagan) are removed as illegal appointees. Otherwise, we have them interfering with Constitutional issues for life.

IF the question of "Natural Born Citizenship" should EVER make its way to the USSC, we have AT LEASt 3 VOTES IN PLACE THERE FROM GINSBURG, KAGAN, AND SOTOMAYER that are self-serving/Socialist-inspired for sure, and the issue will NOT be ruled on the Merits (nor will any other issues they vote on), but rather will be agenda-driven attempts to subvert the Framers' intent, for sure.

I am FURIOUS about this rubber stamp appointment! Why such concern about another woman on the court?

Why not a NATIVE AMERICAN on the court?

“A Republican filibuster of Elena Kagan would be “an unheard of, dirty thing to do,” Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) said.”

Stopping Kagan has to be the most meritorious reason in Hatch’s 34 years in the Senate to use the filibuster and this is his response. What a turncoat, asinine, mind-numbingly idiotic attitude.

People of Utah, please do the nation a favor and get this guy out of the senate.

Has anyone examined her private parts to determine if she really female? We may have our first transgendered member of the Supreme Court.
