LONG WAR JOURNAL.org ^ | August 6, 2010 | Bill Roggio

SNIPPET: "The US Treasury department has added four Iranian Qods Force commanders to its list of specially designated global terrorists, two of whom are charged with directly providing support for the Taliban in neighboring Afghanistan."

SNIPPET: "General Hossein Musavi is the commander Qods Force's Ansar Corps, "whose responsibilities include IRGC-QF activities in Afghanistan," the Treasury stated. "As Ansar Corps Commander, Musavi has provided financial and material support to the Taliban."

Colonel Hasan Mortezavi is described as a senior Qods Force officer who "provides financial and material support to the Taliban."

Qods Forces' Ansar Corps is the command that is assigned to direct operations in Afghanistan. The Ansar Corps is based in Mashad in northeastern Iran. Ansar Corps operates much like the Ramazan Corps, which supports and directs Shia terror groups in Iraq. [See LWJ report, Iran's Ramazan Corps and the ratlines into Iraq]

Al Qaeda is also known to facilitate travel for its operatives moving into Afghanistan from Mashad. Al Qaeda also uses the eastern cities of Tayyebat and Zahedan to move its operatives into Afghansitan. [See LWJ report, Return to Jihad]"

“Iran backs three Shia terror groups in Iraq: General Odierno”
By BILL ROGGIO
July 22, 2010

SNIPPET: “The top US general in Iraq has identified the three main Shia terror groups in Iraq that are backed by Iran.

General Ray Odierno said Iran continues to back the League of the Righteous (or Asaib al Haq), the Mahdi Army spin-off Promised Day Brigade, and the Hezbollah Brigades (or Kataib Hezbollah).

“The Iranians... continue to fund, train and provide weapons and ammunition to Shiite extremist groups,” Odierno told reporters in Baghdad according to AFP. Qods Force, the special operations branch of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, has “gone to a more sophisticated program with a smaller set of extremists” by narrowing down the number of Shia terror groups it supports.”

I don’t really pay attention to “main-stream” media for the most part.

i only read what MSM have to say now a days to keep up with the Socialists attacks. I used to kinda buy some of their lines. Now, I know nothing they say is true. I don't even trust their weather reports now a days.

My question is how do they have any followers? How can people be so gullible and naive?

Just some of the idiocy just blows my mind
1. National Socialists ≠ Socialists
2. Global warming during an ice age
3. The wealthy are conservatives when the wealthiest areas in the US are liberal.
4. moral laws are from the Christian right when a Socialists Woodrow Wilson created the laws.
5. boost the economy by stealing from those that work

It goes on and on.

Sorry i just had to write this.
