Or maybe you’re wrong that Arizonans hate McCain.

It should be a slam dunk for J.D.!

McCain rigged an open primary or he would be out on his tail. Now every liberal can vote in the republican primary for McCain.

This is the main reason why I refused to register as a republican in Arizona. Why bother? It doesn't make a difference.

Stop fooling yourself. McCain says he wants amnesty (with a fine and security check), but after the border is secured. His support for border security is no more heartfelt than his support for the Confederate Battle flag. He is a liar and political whore.
And Palin is little better. When has she ever called for illegal aliens to leave America?

“Six more years of McCain is not something I want to even think about.”

Me too.

If he survives this primary and the general election, he’ll feel as though he’s politically bullet-proof and will be a royal pain in the ass to a level we’ve never seen before.

We have to end open primaries in all states.

So, if the McCain/Palin amnesty is based on a border security he’ll never do... I guess we got status quo. It could be worse.

“It makes absolutely no sense for someone who wants to build a political base to go off camping in a reality show with Kate Gosselin.”

So you are another cheap shot artist with PDS. This thread is about Hayworth and McCain. If you don’t like reality shows, you sure won’t like this reality primary because unfortunately, JD is gonna be voted off the island. After that happens, be sure and blame Palin like the rest of the RINOitis PDSers do. Reality check!

Hayworth attracted a crowd of about 80 people to the Tuesday evening event.

80 people? Come on Arizona. You can do better than that.

Sarah is in a tough political spot. She would of been viciously attacked, no matter what she decided to do with “endorsing/not endorsing” in the ‘10 Arizona U.S. Senate race. She wouldn’t of gotten as much worldwide attention, both positive and negative, if McCain didn’t pick her to be his ‘08 VP. Does anybody even know for certain about Sarah’s honest views of J.D. Hayworth?

I really just don’t understand how McCain could be re-elected after all he as done (Are locals that stupid?). Must be blind to his good points I guess (somebody sees these - heaven help us).

He actually should be tared and feathered and then placed on the rail out of town...

something isnt right it seems with the polls. McCain is HATED at home and yet Hayworth cannot move forward. He is a blowehard but surely better than McCain

It is his excess baggage that is killing Hayworth. Without that I am sure he would be ahead.

[They've been pretty creepy ads, but a lot of people believed them since JD didn't have the money to get his message out. Sarah pretty much caused the donations to dry up when she endorsed McCain at the beginning of the campaign (she promised before JD had announced). It caused a great deal of confusion in the conservative circles.]

Sarah Palin endorsing a leftist rino like McCain shows how the republicans are now just the rino left and is the reason so many conservatives hate their lies and hypocrisy.

[We have to end open primaries in all states.]

Amen, now liberals vote for the so called conservative candidates and real conservatives lose as democrats and rino liberals band together to put in center right rinos.
We can not forget that the GOP likes it that way.

[Sarah is in a tough political spot. She would of been viciously attacked, no matter what she decided to do with...]
This kind of reasoning is why DC is so full or rino liberals. Sarah should always do the right thing for conservatism and failed to hold the line here.

And some of the worst anti-Southern bigots are from the South, those who are always apologizing and putting down fellow Southerners to impress non-Southerners. Been here all my life.

JD's no blowhard, just a big guy with a big voice, and far more intelligent than many of our pols.

I didn’t say I don’t like reality shows. I watch a lot of them. One of my favorites is The Amazing Race. Never saw the one with Kate.

There are many people ,including Palin supporters, who question her judgment over this.

Surely she did not give up so much control over her reality series that she has no say on who will be on it????

Anyone who is trying to build a political base should not be doing a reality show that would bring on Kate.

They shouldn’t be doing ANY reality show.

I am not a Palin supporter because she has shown questionable judgment in many regards.

I do recognize that she has some power and she has wasted some of it with her decisions- to the detriment of the public.

She had better have a lot of control over the editing of her reality show.
