“I do recognize that she has some power and she has wasted some of it with her decisions- to the detriment of the public.”

Name any politician that has not made a decision somewhere down the line that is divergent with the views of some of his/her supporters. “To the detriment of the public” is your opinion and your way to rationalize your opposition to her.

Attacking Palin’s POSITION ON THE KEY ISSUES is certainly legitimate political discourse. The problem for many of you is that you cannot successfully attack her on the issues, so you have to use extraneous BS, such as selected endorsements and the like. And in doing so, you are a fellow traveler, perhaps unwittingly, of the Palin hating dinosaur media and libtards.

Perhaps some of you can extol the virtues of “your” candidate, instead of engaging in repetitive cheap shots. Your problem is that all the other potential/mentioned candidates are either slimey politicians, not right on the issues, or cannot get any traction because they don’t have the ability to effectively communicate (including some who are bunkered with the ostrich approach).

I have no use for those backing RINOs and that is just the way that it is. Also, I want no one running for President that defends Michael Steele. Palin didn’t have to open her mouth..but she did.

Oh and by the way, this is her position on KEY ISSUES which I disagree with.

Questioner] As governor, how do you deal with them? Do you think they all should be deported?

[Palin] There is no way that in the US we would round up every illegal immigrant -there are about 12 million of the illegal immigrants- not only economically is that just an impossibility but that’s not a humane way anyway to deal with the issue that we face with illegal immigration.

[Questioner] Do you then favor an amnesty for the 12 or 13 million undocumented immigrants?

[Palin] No, I do not. I do not. Not total amnesty. You know, people have got to follow the rules. They’ve got to follow the bar, and we have got to make sure that there is equal opportunity and those who are here legally should be first in line for services being provided and those opportunities that this great country provides.
********************************************************
[Questioner] To clarify, so you support a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants?

[Palin] I do because I understand why people would want to be in America. To seek the safety and prosperity, the opportunities, the health that is here. It is so important that yes, people follow the rules so that people can be treated equally and fairly in this country.
