Intresting point. I know there are born-again Christians in the NFL, and Sunday is ANYTHING BUT a day of rest for them. But if ol’ Hajii, or whoever he is, wants to have multiple workouts in the summer’s heat without a cup of water, more power to him.

Sunday wasn’t a day of rest for the early Christians, either. It was the first day of the week, a workday. They met before dawn to worship, then came together again in the evening for the Lord’s Supper.

Saturday was the Jewish day of rest, the sabbath.

Few of us honor either day as they did, either for rest or worship.

“wants to have multiple workouts in the summer’s heat without a cup of water, more power to him.”

My thought also.
