The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows that 24% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-six percent (46%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -22 (see trends).
This matches the lowest Approval Index rating yet measured for this president.

This seems to be a wobbly down, I can’t wait for enough people to be totally sick of him being on TV. It has been 4 constant years. 2 in Prior to the Election and 2 Post Election. -22 isn’t low enough but it is a start.

A wobbly down is a good way to describe it. Let’s see if he has some new lows in a couple of days. I doubt it though, there seems to be a floor.
He got a bit of a bump from the stock market rise and the BP well fix. But the economic malaise is a grind that won’t go away. Queen Michelle’s in-your-face overseas vacation didn’t help matters.
The rest is statistical meandering.
Sure is a lot of noise in this lately.... just a few days ago, it was -10.

In any longer term statistical measure there is noise. But keep an eye on the longer term trends. THOSE are what matter. And keep in mind that we always revert to the mean. If we are trending downward, every once in a while you will pop up to the mean, and if the trend is real, you will continue back downward.
If the reversal is real, you will see higher lows, and higher highs.
We are seeing lower lows, and lower highs. Not a good long term trend.
Now if I took my own advice on the stock market....

The media is gambling on the stupidity of the American voter, that they will buy what they hear on their local news station, they should hate FOXNews and the Right and mostly the Tea Party because they are mean hateful racists. They will also continue to sale the nonsense that this President knows what he is doing and is a down to earth everyday man.
Meanwhile he has his nose in the air and his wife is out partying like Paris Hilton. Some will catch on, most will not. America is in deep trouble.
