PHOENIX (AP) - Both were once considered vulnerable but recently have found stronger footing in their Republican primary races.

Why did you ping five people to ask rintense a question?

Just noticing...how bizarre.

Don’t forget another word that rab and his ilk have used to the point where the word doesn’t mean anything anymore: traitor.

Tonight the Great Pumpkin will rise out of the pumpkin patch. He flies through the air and brings toys to all the conservatives of the world.

I don’t think Brewer had much to do with initiating the Arizona law. There is a state senator who was the impetus for it and it just fell into Brewer’s lap at a very good time for her.

As far as McCain goes, there just seem to be a lot of Arizona voters who refuse to see him for what he is: a flip/flopping liar.

That’s a shame. I thought Brewer was more sensible than getting into bed with an islamic appeaser like mccain.

Excellent post. Thank you for explaining it so well for us outsiders.

Whatever happened to the JD? I even sent him $100. Hate to see that money wasted.

TRY following the posts, instead of pinging Jim to try to get rintense swatted. Most interesting is that you replied to the exact post that you're trying to call-out rintense for!
Grow-up and stop trying to incite trouble.
RINTENSE AND ALL REMAINING ADULTS: I'm departing this thread - it's gone to the usual "kiddie hell."

You know Onyx, you're sounding more and more like you're an actual mod here on FR, so I pose the question:

Are you a full or part time mod? I think other posters have a right to know that, to know if you have a potential 'edge' or advantage over everyone else?

Looking forward to your response.

Because they're all thin skinned cowards?

It’s so revealing to see the usual suspects arrive to ridicule those who take Leftist McCain to task.

They think this is funny.

It is not funny.

Any person claiming to understand Conservatism and believe in it, that consorts with John McCain, is either very shallow or not who they claim to be at all.

“You have a real problem dealing with people whose opinions differ from your own.”

See what I mean about moronic statements? You are a lightweight in the debate game. It’s a little different when the shoe is on the other foot, ain’t it? Perhaps you should observe your fellow travelers on the Palin threads.

The only reason Ted got the boot was because he was indicted one week before the election. The indictment was later thrown out, but that’s what sealed his fate.

See what I mean about moronic statements? You are a lightweight in the debate game.

Responding to your sweeping generalities, childish name calling, and self-appointed Miss Manners posturing around here could hardly be considered participation in a debate.

I'll definitely have to find someone other than you before I'll be involved in a debate.

Yes, I think her endorcement of McCain has definately cost her some political support among grass-root conservatives here in Georgia.

Click here to see a short video I took of her this past Monday in Atlanta when she was stumping for Handel, who lost to Deal in the Georgia primary for governor.

Perhaps it’s all about the money? Is it possible that they, the Republican powers that be, blackmail (withhold funds/GOP support) from candidates who don’t support their golden boys/girls, like Juan?

Thank you for great clarification!

On a side, I suppose it is possible to be in favor of SB 1070 AND in favor of a McCain type amnesty....once they’re legalized, they’ll just be less need for enforcement in 1070.

Any idea if Brewer supported SB2611 (McCain/Kennedy)?

Thanks foxfield. Nothing happened to JD, he is still campaigning like crazy all over the State. To answer your question though you have only to look at what some posters here at FR are saying.

When we have people here blasting JD as an earmarks loser can you imagine what is going through the minds of those more uninformed voters across our State?

Mccain is saturating our airways with this type of negative lies and whether or not anyone wants to believe it, their minds are being conditioned to believing the lies.

I would challenge anyone to tell me ONE Bill that John McCain either authored or voted for in his 26+ yrs. that DIDN'T contain earmarks/pork/entitlements! The fact is, if these people would stop long enough to THINK, that there is no such Bill.

Does anyone step back and ask themselves what kind of Bills JD's "pork" spending were about? Do they tie in the FACT that the Conservative Union gave JD a 97.6 CONSERVATIVE rating while he served AZ in the House? That fact tells me that almost everything JD voted for were good conservative Bills but those Bills contained stupid pork/earmarks/entitlements.

Now take McCain's pork/earmark/entitlement spending over the period of 26+ yrs.! McCain outspent JD in that area with his signing one Bill only...TARP! Put that with all the other yrs. of Bills McCain signed on to and JD's spending is nothing more than a grain of sand in comparison.

But people are pumped full of these negative ads and even if they don't think they are being programed, they most certainly are.

A good example....years ago there was a Greyhound Bus commercial that ran constantly on TV. The only commercials I watched had animals or babies and I ignored the rest. On a chartered bus trip to Vegas some 30 yrs. after that Greyhound com. ran, I said to my husband, "the bus driver looks so familiar to me" and wondered if he might have been a driver I had on the many bus trips across the Country I took in my earlier years. I went over to him and asked him if he ever had a Greyhound route in the past and he told me "no", then asked me if I remembered the old Greyhound commercial. I said I did and he told me he was the "driver" that leaned out the bus window that said "and leave the driving to us"!

So, putting the onslaught of the McCain ads with the incredible constant free face time McCain is getting from especially FOX, people are being "conditioned" without even being aware of it.

JD is a conservative through and through but so many just glance at the surface and they clomp on to such trivial crapola as they don't like JD's looks or his demeanor, etc. JD is a solid conservative issue guy, has a lovely family and a good Christian.

Another thing...the stupid infomercial that JD made and apoligized for? At the time McCain's attack ad about that came out, McCain himself had links on his SENATE site where he was directing people to where they could get "free" government money! Soon as that was discovered the link disappeared.

The stuff people and the mccainiacs are attacking JD with are minute compared to the disastrous record of one John McCain. McCain has the money and the machine...JD has the grass roots...will the grass roots be enough? Don't know but it is doubtful imo.

One more little thing I'd like to say (as if I would ever run out of things to say :))and that is about McCain's "baby", his constant hammering that he is against pork/earmarks/entitlements. The man has been yammering about this for at least 10 yrs. that I am aware of, but has done zip, nada, zilch in actually doing anything about it! Why didn't McCain get all that eliminated when Pubbies held the majority in the Senate? Because he either didn't want to or he couldn't. If it was the later then why continue to make big noise that makes one think he can do something about it....because the people are stupid enough to keep swallowing his lies, that's why.

And three yrs. ago McCain told us he has heard us about building the damn fence....why in those three yrs. has he not gotten something done about that! Because he either doesn't want to or he isn't the "leader" he claims we need in the Senate. He talks the talk when it's what the voters are clamoring for, but he NEVER walks the walk!

Thank you Kimberly....I have seen nothing about her support of McCain/Kennedy but perhaps another AZ FReeper might know. She wasn’t in the Gov. seat then so doubt anyone cared to even ask her. She took over being Gov. when Napolitano was called by her “master” to serve in D.C.
