Exactly. Say what you will about the looney left, they have been remarkably patient in taking small steps to achieve their goals.

On what issues is Fiorina out of line with most conservative Republicans? Granted, she probably won't be as conservative as Tom Coburn, but I don't see why should be considered an Olympia Snowe Republican.
Tom McClintock (R-CA) got elected to the House, and he's about as conservative as they come. Duncan Hunter is from San Diego.
Don't fall for the lie that "conservatives can't get elected in blue states." It's hogwash. Even more-so in the era of Obama.
