That's possible. He certainly has been doing a lot of that lately. I'm not sure he's got to completely neutralize the military in order to take over, though. One of the great virtues of our army is that it has never been a separate political force and simply follows orders. So I think it would be hard for many military people, even those not sympethetic to Obama, to reject any order he might give them.
However, I suppose it could happen, and he would certainly be trying to eliminate in advance anybody he thought might be a problem this way.

I would like to see his agenda nullified in November when hopefully, we can elect more conservative, God-fearing, truly patriotic representatives. But it’s possible we will still wind up with the same or similar Congress. And as I said, it’s also possible we could wake up one morning to some form of martial law.
My preference is for a peaceful rebellion. But if we can’t neuter this man’s agenda by peaceful means, it will be time for war. That scares the krap out of me.
Guess I’ll have to get over my fear of firearms, get armed and learn how to shoot.

The second category of international terrorist threat is made up of formal terrorist organizations. These autonomous, generally transnational, groups have their own personnel, infrastructures, financial arrangements, and training facilities.
They are able to plan and mount terrorist campaigns on an international basis, and several actively support terrorist-related activities in the United States.
Extremist groups such as Palestinian Hamas, the Irish Republican Army, the Egyptian El-Gama Al-Islamiyya (IG), and Lebanese Hizballah have supporters in the United States, though the activities of these U.S.-based cells revolve primarily around fund-raising, recruiting, and low-level intelligence gathering.

The astounding thing about both is they appear to be acts of a man who does not even care about ordinary political sensibilities and seeing his party win in November. The only logical explanation for both the trip and this action is psychological: he bears a deep, absolute, total and utterly virulent hate for America and Americans that he will act out even if there's a serious doubt whether he can politically get away with it. He is an utterly evil, profoundly dangerous man.

This thread’s many comments against Debra’s use of the word “stunned”, as well as a couple of comments suggesting she probably voted for Barack Obama, is one of those times, IMHO.
She is speaking for the organization of 9-11 families. Not speaking for herself as an individual in isolation from others. In that sense her use of the word “stunned” represents the group. There are undoubtedly people among this group who are stunned by how far Obama went. These folks haven’t necessarily followed this man’s background to the extent we have or Sean Hannity, etc, have. They have been so wrapped up in dealing with this horrific event ever since it happened...some of them were probably liberals and even some moderates or conservatives were so preoccupied with their issue they could have missed the depth of this man’s depravity.
She should not be attacked, nor should it be hinted that she voted for Obama when such is not demonstrable.
Do not turn on her or the families. Bring them in and encircle them in your arms of love and patriotism.
