At a White House event on Friday, Obama seemed to offer his support for the construction of Cordoba House near the site known as "Ground Zero" in lower Manhattan.
Seemed to offer?? A simple quote from Friday's event would clarify what they're talking about. Can't have that, though. Doing so might make Dear Leader look bad. Much better to obfuscate the issue by leaving the quote out.

Too late. He needs to be held to his endorsement and we need to be asking every Democrat office-seeker if they agree with their president that the mosque at Ground Zero should be built.
Obama stepped in this big time and the GOP *must* pound on it and force all Democrats to agree with him or disagree. This is a wedge issue that can be used to pull a lot of votes away from the Dems.
