The EFFECTS he listed are CAUSED by underlying horrible government policies -- giving mortgages to people who have no right owning homes, taxing the daylights out of us, laying huge new socialist burdens on the nation, massive regulation of every aspect of business, government ownership of business, etc. Unemployment rates and slow manufacturing growth is NOT hurting the economy...GOVERNMENT is strangling it.
