I agree with you, hats off to the rank and file members that will refuse to build it. However, I believe the unions will cave and build it anyway. Since when has a union put anything, including honor, ahead of the union?
I DO NOT MAKE THIS COMMENT AT THE RANK AND FILE. They will be pressured by the higher ups. THIS IS FOR THE UNION BOSSES that don’t give a hoot about anything but power and money.
Case in point, the GM stamping plant in Indiana. The union voted to let the plant close rather than take a pay cut to save the plant and their jobs. I know, a pay cut is brutal at this particular time in our economy. However, isn’t it better to have a job. Oh wait, I forgot, the union will pay their workers about 80% of their salary for 1 year, Obambi will give them 2 years worth of unemployment. Wow, that’s three years of getting paid for not working. Well, can’t say as I blame them. Take the money and run. We, the tax payers, have your back (sarc).
