D.C. Democrats: Clueless, Condescending, and Costly

The political class not only wastes trillions of our money, it adds insult to injury with each condescending statement.

Why are Americans enraged? As this moribund economy limps through its third year of doldrums, Americans are sick of having their hard-earned money swiped by the Democrat-dominated political class in Washington, D.C., which is clueless, condescending, and invariably costly.

Could anything but cluelessness explain what happened when Harv’s Metro Car Wash in Sacramento owed the federal government precisely four pennies because of a mistake in its tax return? Rather than shrug at a four-cent error, the IRS dispatched two agents to deliver a letter by hand informing the owner of his tax debt.

“They were deadly serious, very aggressive,” Harv’s proprietor, Aaron Zeff, told the Sacramento Bee. That was the first time he had heard that his account was amiss. Indeed, Zeff had received an official letter last October saying that his business had “filed all required returns and addressed any balances due.”

I agree 100% with this piece re the Dems in Washington having no clue and the populace being enraged with their actions.

Interestintgly, Obama loves to continue to call the Republicans “the party of no”.

From here-on we should continually refer to the Dems as the “party of no clue”.

Interestingly, Obama loves to continue to call the Republicans “the party of no”

I’m willing to wager what Herv’s Car Wash owed the IRS, that proprietor Aaron Zeff’s party registration is not democrat.

We need to open a lot of nursery schools for these dems.

They don’t seem to be able to go any higher.

Liberalism freezes mental development, making people remain adolescent forever. Actually that is what leftism is doing. Adolescence is the highest peak of human spirit. No place for reality or wisdom. Since the real world is more than adolescent mind can take, liberals get frustrated, bitter, and angry. Eventually he lashes out, developing paranoia that their vision cannot be achieved because there are people of pure evil holding them down. It never occurs to them that their model is fatally flawed. They refuse to realize fatal flaw of their vision, but that does not preclude them from inflicting fatal damage to people.

God d*mn adolescent-minded cult did enough damage for over a century. I want to see it dead in the current financial crisis, not coming back to ruin us again, when the smoke clears.

The analogy to the French Revolution is very appropriate. In 1789 the haughty nobility paid no taxes, had special priviliges and even different standards of justice than what was applied to the rabble. This is no different than the ruling elites in Washington. The IRS will send federal agents to collect four cents from some poor schmuck and will look the other way when Tom Daschle, Tim Geitner and Charlie Rangel commit massive tax fraud. Congress and Obama spend the public's money on scale like the court at Versailles when the nation is all but bankrupt. Congress exempts itself and government lackeys from the laws it imposes on the people.

While the elites dine on kobe beef and take lavish vacations the masses are rallying and will soon be at the gates of Washington. Heads will be rolling come November.

America has not pulled itself out of the frame GHWB and Slick Willie embody. Chicom butt kissers have been in charge since 1988. That is 22 years, 6 presidencies, and 4 Presidents.
