Tuesday's primaries in Arizona and Florida appear likely to deliver a few surprises -- surprises, that is, for anyone who accepted the conventional wisdom of just a few months ago.
Back then, Arizona Sen. John McCain (R) was considered in danger of becoming the next victim of a tea party uprising that was threatening Republican candidates who were seen as straying from conservative orthodoxy.
In what was taken as a sign of his nervousness, he brought in his 2008 vice presidential running mate, Sarah Palin, who vouched for his conservative bona fides. Now he enjoys a double-digit lead in the polls over his challenger, former representative J.D. Hayworth.

This has been going on for months. The pollsters, liberal newspapers, TV news (which is ALL liberal) have been flat out trying to SAVE McCain.
McCain is a bought and paid for Democrat and leftist.
The irony is that the bulk of that $20 million in cash came from conservatives who thought they were contributing to Palin.

I am one of those “suckers.” McCain was a Soros setup. He was never going to win or was even going to try. Steve Schmidt his campaign person is a Democrat.

McCain never wanted to win. He was at best, a poor actor, pretending to run for president.
I can’t forget the moment, before the election was even held, when McCain said in an interview “America has nothing to fear from an Obama presidency.” !!!!! The outrage of saying that when McCain was still running!!!
And we most obviously did have everything to fear from Imam Obama. It is all so much worse than I even imagined in the days after Nov.4th,2008. My research of Hussien was warning me of how dangerous he is, but the reality of his fake presidency is a thousand times worse.
We’re about to see McCain swerve so far to the left that he’ll make Barry, Nancy and Harry look like rightwing kooks. If the polls are correct, the voters here in Arizona are about to make a serious mistake. Of course, “Republican” voter registration is way up here. I think the commie ‘RATS are playing games so they can vote in our primary.
On a side note. We need to be sure that our primaries are early enough for ballots to be printed for our military.
Late primaries are used as an excuse to disenfranchise our troops.

I do hope that McCain loses, but it doesn’t look like he will. He spent what he had to spend and said what he had to say, even though I doubt that he meant it.
It’s horrible.... and I think you’re right about him.... Even though I don’t personally know of ANYONE voting for him, that doesn’t mean he didn’t buy the election... again...
Here in WI we have a great Congressman named Paul Ryan.
So far he has publicly stated he will not run for POTUS in 2012. He has young children and that is his reason for declining to run this time around. I hope he changes his mind, and sees that although there is sacrifice in running for and being president, that the country his children will live in, is worth fighting for now, not in some distant election when his kids are grown up.
Ryan has a plan to slay the deficit and it scares the crap out of both dems and repubs, because they can’t dispute that his plan will work.
Paul Ryan hails from the Janesville,WI area in southern WI.
I’d like to have such a ground swell for Ryan to run that he reconsiders and runs in 2012.
