The greatest taboo: woman lifts lid on tragic genetic consequences of when first cousins marry
Daily Mail Online (UK) ^ | August 22, 2010 | Tazeed Ahmad

Posted on 08/22/2010 11:01:22 AM PDT by Albion Wilde

My mum... was the first girl to live beyond childhood. Five of her sisters died as babies or toddlers. It was not until many years later that anyone worked out why so many children died and three boys were born deaf... Today there is no doubt among us that this tragedy occurred because my grandparents were first cousins....

[snip]

In the UK more than 50 per cent of British Pakistanis marry their cousins.. ... the practice is on the rise and also common among East African, Middle-Eastern and Bangladeshi communities...

the children of first cousins are ten times more likely to be born with recessive genetic disorders which can include infant mortality, deafness and blindness.

...British Pakistanis constitute 1.5 per cent of the population, yet a third of all children born in this country with rare recessive genetic diseases come from this community.

[snip]

This is a major public health issue that has huge implications...The cost to the NHS is many millions of pounds.

Obama said that Islam has made many valuable contributions to American culture; he welcomes a high-profile, in-your-face mosque development; and also claims that a national health service like the UK's will be less expensive for Americans.

Presumably he has not calculated the costs of bringing primitive tribal cultural norms to bear on such a taxpayer-supported system.

“Fatima! Cover yourself! I want to have sex.”
“But Abdul, I wuv you!!”
“Then cover yourself she-dog!”
“But Abdul, don’t you want to see me?”
“No! Filthy cow! Put your tent back on this instant! If you want to expose your disgusting body like this, you should have married Abdul!”
“But, Abdul, I did marry you!”
“Not me woman-creature! You should have married your cousin Abdul.”
“But Abdul, you are my cousin!”
“ I’m your second-cousin, witch! You should have married Abdul, son of Abdul, your first-cousin! Now put your tent back on, and sock it to me!”

I think in the countries mentioned this practice should be encouraged to the point of siblings marrying. See if they can breed themselves out of existence. Why do I see so many articles pointing out the atrocities of Islam and never any that show this crap ideology actually promoting enlightenment and IMPROVING lives?

"Presumably he has not calculated the costs of bringing primitive tribal cultural norms to bear on such a taxpayer-supported system."

The salient words here are "primitive tribal cultural norms." That phrase, by the way, explains why they have never progressed past tribalism. This may seem a bit cruel, but their tribalism may be our saving grace as these types of immigrants move toward plurality. It occurs to me that tribal people would be much easier to defeat than those whose organizational structures tend toward modernity.

At least 60% of Iraqi and an even higher number of Afghan and Pak couples are first cousins. It is done for strategic reasons to preserve the clan and tribe cohesiveness....survival.

There are a number of health dangers that they experience constantly: low birth weight, all kinds of genetic deformaties, and shorter lifespan due to tumors that become malignant over time. But one of the major results is male-offspring sterility and an increased birth of girls, roughly 55% of births.

That phenomena feeds into the need for multiple wives for those (fewer-in-number-anyway) males that are not sterile. It also explains the common practice of killing female infants if they are the first born.

The problem of population decline is particularly notable in Afghanistan and the Baloch areas of Pakistan where clans are highly isolated from each other, travel is limited and the gene pool is therefore very restricted.

That is exactly what happened to every ancient Egyptian dynasty and caused them all to die out.

Go take a look at the history of the Royals in Britain, France, Russia, Burma, Thailand (and elsewhere) to see what a genetic disaster inbreeding is. The French appear to have suffered less of it only because they bred so many snobbish idiots; like the bunch they sent to the Battle of Agincourt to be slaughtered by the thousand in a 7 minute long “arrow storm” delivered by British archers. What brainless inbred French Aristocracy that remained was finished for good in the Revolution.

Didn’t one of Britain’s King Charles rule for a very short time primarily because of his many genetic defects that killed him quite young??

Inbreeding is what ultimately resulted in British troops fighting Queen Victoria’s own Grandson Kaiser Wilhelm, during WWI.

The article contains an answer to this problem:

I have travelled nationwide, meeting doctors and families whose lives are full of pain. To me the solution is simple: Ring the alarm bells loud and clear.

In Birmingham, one GP practice has taken radical action. The doctors have campaigned heavily to stop cousin marriages. They have introduced genetic screening and testing for patients, starting at 16, and now claim that very few cousin marriages take place there.

Doctors and community leaders have to step up and spread the word. The article also mentions that it is not just a non-white problem. BTW, even in the USA, 1st cousin marriage is legal in some of our biggest states.

The real term for this is “consanguineous marriage”. It is associated with higher rates of birth defects such as low IQ as any Google search on the subject can document.
