Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger today denounced Proposition 25, which would lower the legislative vote margin for state budgets from two-thirds to a simple majority, and declared that it's a back-door attempt to make it easier to raise taxes.

Schwarzenegger, speaking to a business group in Goleta, responded "absolutely no" when asked about his position on the measure, placed on the ballot by Democrats and unions, and then added, "I believe this is also...a majority vote for tax increases."

Proposition 25 is perhaps the most toxic proposition ever to be on the ballot in CA. If passed, it would simply destroy the state. Democrats would immediately raise taxes and make a bigger mess out of the state than it already is.

If you live in CA, vote no on Proposition 25.

For once the dummy Schwarzenegger gets something right.

back-door attempt to make it easier to raise taxes.

Back door attempt? Uh, no. More like an attempt to pile drive through the front door.

Although in California back door stuff seems to be very popular...

Even if Proposition 25 is defeated the democrats will get to two thirds majority in the California Senate and Assembly due to the Mexicanization of California. Look at the people they voted into office in the city of Bell. Stupid, ingnorant, uneducated voters elect third world despots. It sure is nice of the responsible tax payers in other parts of the USA to bail out our beloved California when the you know what hits the fan.
