What most folks on the Left don’t understand (maybe because they don’t attend church) is that all religious buildings go thru the same process. Overwhelming the street/neighborhood with traffic is a legitimate reason to deny permission to build on a given site.
The left doesn’t care about details such as zoning processes. When Islam is involved, they become zealous 1st amendment religious freedom defenders.
When Christianity is involved, the left files lawsuits to tear down crosses from mountaintops,and work to ban even tangentially religious organizations such as Boy Scouts from public facilities.
I want to see what happens when a Muslim version of boy scouts wants to use public facilities. Will the left file lawsuits against them?
Our church was not allowed to expand because of drainage issues.
