WTF. Headly and Goldstein were not agents of the American government but were deranged private citizens. Additionally they acted contrary to any cultural American norm. I won't hold a foreign government responsible in a similar situation and I sincerely doubt anyone who doesn't already passionately hate us will blame us in this instance.

That was my exact thought.

I won't hold a foreign government responsible in a similar situation and I sincerely doubt anyone who doesn't already passionately hate us will blame us in this instance.

The article's title tries to imply that the CIA could be an "exporter" of terrorism -- which is exactly contrary to the apparent article. What they are concerned about is if enough deranged citizens stir up trouble elsewhere, we (the US) might start getting a bad reputation (like Libya, etc.)

However, the last paragraph in the article makes a good point: the US should never drag their feet on extradition of a US citizen, if there's a reasonable amount of proof they were involve in foreign terrorism.
