I don’t remember ever taking any sort of an oath of allegiance to the EPA either in school or anywhere else in life. This will kill the 2’nd amendment and start a second civil war.

Very doubtful.

We are much more a nation of sheep than of lions. There is no way this would start a civil war. We would take it lying down. I like to think I am not one of the sheep per say - I am more studious, knowledgable, am willing to vote AGAINST my incumbents, am willing to write letters to my representatives, etc...

That said, I would not go to war over a ban on lead ammo, as unconstitutional as it is - and as much as I would support both a legal battle and a reduced role for the fed EPA with both my dollars and my time.

There would be no civil war because the market would quickly supply an alternate or two. These would be expensive and would cause great bellyaching and whining, but no civil war.

The 5-shot/year hunter would hardly be affected by it. He sights in 3 shots at the bench and then takes 2 shots in the field. $2 per shot rifle ammo is not going to destroy his standard of living.

The recreational shooter would see a huge rise in cost and simply reduce the amount he is shooting. He too will whine over beers but tolerate it. Many of these people have a surplus of ammunition at home to buffer the transition to the more expensive ammo, so they would be upset only as they phased in purchases. This would act like the slowly boiling frog to make it less painful on the recreational shooter, and he would be even less rabid in his condemnation.

No civil war. Gripes. Complaints. Whining. No change n voting pattern since the socialist liberal Obama supporters don't by and large shoot anyway, and the shooters don't by and large vote Democrat - so nothing new there. Nope, no civil war - just a grudging, whining acceptance.

BLOAT.
