Earlier today, droves of people descended on the nations steps of the Lincoln Memorial to participate in Fox News host Glenn Becks Restoring Honor rally seriously... droves?!

Appears to be quite a few “droves” to me. I examined the pic closely and it’s obvious to me that there are people among the trees that aren’t visible. I believe that 500,000 is far too small a number.

A drove would be less organized than a row, but more well-behaved than a stampede--although droves did often turn into stampedes when they were spooked by brushfires, rattlesnake nests or just because the lead pair decided to pick up the pace. A drove would be less controlled than a parade, but more orderly than an avalanche. It could be a drove of sheep, cattle or camels, but you'd never see a drove of cats.

The New Carrollton Metro Stop was as packed as I have ever seen it for any of these rallies and marches that my wife and I have participated in. Two hour lines to get Metro Tickets. Fortunately we have a Metro Smart Card so we were able to get tickets quickly. God Bless all of those who stood in those lines to come down to this Glorious Event. To me, the event was very reverential. God Bless America!
