With a group I saw “Hot Tub Time Machine”.
My wife and I were shocked that he had stooped to such a pathetic script. Kinda tells you where his acting career is right now. It’s a shame. I thought he was a great actor and his “earnest guy” shtick worked.
Grosse Pointe Blank was great.
I’ve learned to separate the artists from their political leanings. If not for that I couldn’t appreciate Santana’s masterful guitar, The Clash (or most punk music for that matter) or any number of other things. Most artists are libs. I accept it. I just rejoice in the few who do seem to have a brain.
I know. He was really cute in that movie, but when I re-watched it a few weeks ago, I saw a hint of the insufferable smugness that would later overtake him and make all of his later movies unwatchable.
