“I AM FOR A SATANIC DEATH CULT CENTER AT FOX NEWS HQ AND OUTSIDE THE OFFICES ORDICK ARMEYAND NEWT GINGRICH-and all the GOP WELFARE FREAKS,” Cusack tweeted.

I may be wrong but I don't think Mr. Cusack was calling for the "Satanic Death" of Fox News. It sounds like he was trying to play off Obama's Ground Zero mosque debacle; attempting to be cute with words while filled with venom. He sarcastically calls for this "SDCC" to be built on the perceived ground zero for conservatives (i.e. Fox News).

I'm not an apologist for John Cusack, but I do think he's a good actor. I really enjoyed Better Off Dead, Say Anything and Martian Child. I just wish he could remember the old axiom about "an actor's job is to act---if he has a message, he should go to Western Union".

p.s. I don't have a clue what he means with the GOP Welfare Freaks comment.
