Hey GOP, I have a great idea for a commercial:

Clip 1: Obama speech claiming victory in Iraq.
Clip 2: Harry Reid, “We have lost this war.”
Clip 3: Obama, “I don’t oppose all wars. What I am opposed to is a dumb war.”
Clip 4: Joe Wilson, “You Lie!”
END

I would add in the one where Obama is explaining that the surge is such a bad idea and that the 20,000 troops will “do more harm than good”.

You said: He is a detestable wretched excuse for a man.

....which, IMHO, makes him perfect for this job for this administration.

Here is the letter I sent to about 40 papers and talk shows.

Obama’s War on Terror Deception

The Presidential website announces “Vice President Joe Biden has arrived in Iraq to participate in a Change of Command and Change of Mission Ceremony, fulfilling the commitment made by the President in his first month in office….. The Vice President’s visit at this juncture will reinforce the long-term U.S. commitment to Iraq”. This announcement is untrue.

The November 2008 Status of Forces .Agreement (SOFA), not Obama’s speech, defined the endgame for Iraq military involvement. Obama did not choose timelines for U.S. combat brigade departures. SOFA required withdrawal from cities, villages, and localities by June 30, 2009. SOFA, not Obama, required all U.S. forces withdrawn from Iraq territory by December 31, 2011. Iraq and U.S. as sovereign and coequal countries, and without Obama, devised SOFA strategies implementing U.N. principles.

July 2007 heralded Obama’s last noteworthy Iraq involvement when he, Biden, Clinton, etal co-sponsored the Levin-Reed Amendment requiring most troops leave by April 2008. Passage would have precluded achievements he now embraces. Beginning in 2007 with the “Al Anbar Awakening” and throughout 2008, Iraqi people and leaders experienced deliverance from lives dominated by assassins stalking them and their families. Iraqis witnessed the ascendance of national institutions providing personal and material security.

Gibbs is like a teflon parrot:

He keeps saying the exact same thing & he expects anything thrown at him to roll off.

I was surprised he’s back. Has there been any explanation as to where he was those few days? Vacation?

only CBS’s Harry Smith failed to ask whether President Obama would extend credit to President Bush

Gibbs insisted that no one doubted the surge would improve security, but insisted that the real accomplishment was “an improved political situation.”

LOL! Improved political situation!

Ha Ha!!! Good one Gibbsie!

Talk about being brazen:

Obama:
“I am not persuaded that 20,000 additional troops in Iraq are gonna solve the sectarian violence there. In fact, I think it will do the reverse.”

Gibbs:
“I think, Mika, then-candidate Barack Obama said that adding 20,000 men and women into Baghdad and into Iraq was likely to improve the security situation....”

Lets see...economy: it took ten years to get in this mess, Bush’s fault. Iraq: I secured victory in 18 months, nothing before I got here mattered.

Pathological
