Manan Trivedi, the Democrat's choice to take on incumbent Republican Jim Gerlach in Pennsylvania's 6th District congressional race, accused Gerlach of racism because Gerlach has been describing Trivedi as a far left-winger who "doesn't share our values."
Trivedi, a doctor, was a health policy advisor to Barack Obama.
Gerlach aide Mark Campbell responded by saying Trivedi was the only one who used race in the campaign which happened when he asked Indian-American groups to contribute to his campaign solely because he descended from emigrants from India.
Trivedi responded by accusing Campbell of racism and demanding he be fired.

He’s not even any good at playing the race card.
Yeah, but he’s getting help from other Dems like Allyson Schwartz.
If he’s gonna make it as a Dem, he needs to learn that you just can’t run around bleating ‘racist’ all the time (unless you’re Maxine Waters or another member of the CBC) - you have to keep the race card up your sleeve and use it only for those special occasions when you are otherwise getting skinned on the issues.
Are people of Indian descent even eligible to own a Race Card, much less play one?
