I was talking about Japan and other countries too, and I did say “underage” and “children”.

So if I oppose something I must be in favor of it??

really??

So FR must be pro-Obama then??

Who said I approve of this? I never implied that you must approve of it either. My question is “What can you or I do about this?” The answer is “Not one darn thing”.

Is it a shame? Yup. So is child labor in India, China and the Middle East. What are the alternatives? Take actions to stop it, and make the children lose whatever meager living they have and starve to death on the street?

Ugly fact of life. What do you suppose happens to the street urchins in 3rd world countries? They either starve, or are murdered by larger children who are hired by local shopkeepers who pay to exterminate potential future thieves. This is what happens in Mexico, among other places. Those who escape this life, may find themselves as sex slaves or the very lucky one’s may find employment as a laborer.

Life is ugly, cruel and harsh. So, what can we do about what happens in a sovereign country? The ONLY thing that I’m aware of is that if a US Citizen travels to a foreign country to participate in sexual tourism that is illegal in the US, can face prosecution when they return. How often this is caught is anyone’s guess. I’d guess ‘seldom’.

I see the world as it is; not as I’d like it to be. I do not approve of it, and if I were King, it would be different.
