Giuliani: Imam behind NYC mosque plan puts ‘confrontation’ first
thehill.com ^ | Sept. 12, 2010 | Ben Geman

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani (R) on Sunday strongly criticized Feisal Abdul Rauf, the imam seeking to build an Islamic community center and mosque near Ground Zero.

“He seems by his actions to be more interested in confrontation than in healing,” Giuliani said on NBC’s "Meet the Press."

The former mayor alleged that the plan is hurtful to the vast majority of family members of victims of the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks.

Giuliani also said the imam has not been transparent about the project’s financing, and cited Rauf’s 2001 comment on CBS’s 60 Minutes that “United States policies were an accessory to the crime that happened.”

This iman is a terrorist. And if he dares to use violence to achieve his goals, then he must be met with an in kind response.

If islam really is a "religion of peace" then such people should behave peacefully.

I like Giuliani, thought not for office, but I wish people would start calling this mosque what it really is.

It's a symbol of CONQUEST and nothing else...it will become the Mecca West in the eyes of moolimbs around the World.

That would be "confrontation" and "intercalation" - for an ABOMINATION.

" In Islam, every structure linked to the faith and its rituals has a precise function and character.
A mosque is a one-story gallery built around an atrium with a mihrab (a niche pointing to Mecca)
and one, or in the case of Shiites two, minarets.
This 13-story multifunctional structure couldn't be any of the above.
The groups fighting for the project know this; this is why they sometimes call it an Islamic cultural center.
But there is no such thing as an Islamic culture.
The Prophet imposed his rule on parts of Arabia through a series of ghazvas, or razzias (the origin of the English word "raid").

The ghazva was designed to terrorize the infidels, convince them that their civilization was doomed and force them to submit
to Islamic rule. Those who participated in the ghazva were known as the ghazis, or raiders.
After each ghazva, the Prophet ordered the creation of a rabat -- or a point of contact at the heart of the infidel territory raided.
The rabat consisted of an area for prayer, a section for the raiders to eat and rest and facilities to train and prepare
for future razzias. Later Muslim rulers used the tactic of ghazva to conquer territory in the Persian and Byzantine empires.
After each raid, they built a rabat to prepare for the next razzia.

It is no coincidence that Islamists routinely use the term ghazva to describe the 9/11 attacks against New York and Washington.
The terrorists who carried out the attack are referred to as ghazis or shahids (martyrs).
Thus, building a rabat close to Ground Zero would be in accordance with a tradition started by the Prophet.
To all those who believe and hope that the 9/11 ghazva would lead to the destruction of the American "Great Satan,"
this would be of great symbolic value."

It would be easier to believe that WTC was attacked by extremists that moderate muslims don’t support, if it weren’t for the fact that moderates are now trying to build a victory mosque on the site that their extremist brethern so considerately cleared for them.

Our annual Koran burning party was a blast last night. I wore a my homemade burqa and hubby wore a genuine PLO scarf. Bacon grease is helpful in burning trash, and nothing cooks a Koran like a Big Green Egg.

You know you’re in trouble when a “moderate”, as the liberals call him, wants to kill you and destroy your government and your country.

If islam really is a "religion of peace"

Islam "is" a religion of peace should really be phrased Islam "will be" a religion of peace - for as soon as all the world is under the dominion of sharia law, and those opposing islam are subdued, there will then be peace!

Peace is the ultimate goal of all totalitarian factions. Getting there by any means - deceit and violence included - is noble to the outcome!

Even that I find hard to believe, because the biggest killer of muslims in muslim countries is other muslims. There are nasty sectarian conflicts within islam in countries that are solely islamic.

"Giuliani: Imam behind NYC mosque plan puts ‘confrontation’ first"

As a member of the "religion of perpetual outrage" the imam is doing what all good muslims do, including obama...scream, shout, threaten, and attack when they don't get their way.

The MSM is confusing this fool imam of being an American elected official or something, giving way too much credence to his utterings and threats. Maybe be scares the panty-wearing media, maybe he scares obama, but the American people are standing fast on what is left of their country in fighting back.

No one in authority is doing a damn thing but offereing lip service and appeasing these ragheaded bastards, so someone has got to do it.

Confontation is the modus operandi of muslim terrorists, always has been.

Jeff Dunham, the ventriloquist, has a puppet named "Achmed the dead terrorist" which uses humor to illustrate their "I keeel you" attitude. After all, good humor must always have a thread of truth to really be funny.

FOX news ran a special about the 9/11 hijackings the other night, and they played a cockpit recording of Flight 96, in which the terrorists in the cockpit were telling everyone to calm down and take a seat and they would be going back to the airport.

They did this after it was apparent that there was a group of Americans in the back headed to the cockpit to retake the plane. They were scared when someone stood up to them, and they were lying to the passengers.

Saddam Hussein was a perfect example of the "brave" muslim...shooting his gun in the air and bragging, until we called his bluff. His "brave" soldiers were surrendering to CNN crews in the desert and Hussein hid in a gopher hole.

They are quick to threaten and kill when the odds are in their favor, but contrary to popular belief, the odds in America are NOT in their favor...not outside the Washington/New York area anyway.

I hear that obama quoted Lincoln in one of his speeches, but he should remember this quote from Lincoln, as it is rapidly coming true.

"You can fool some of the people, all of the time; you can fool all of the people, some of the time; but you cannot fool all of the people, all of the time."

It's over, obama...put your head between your legs and kiss your ass goodbye.

BHO Toast

According to HLN-CNN, services / prayers are already being held at the victory mosque location. It’s a done deal, they just want to “guild the lily”.

The Imam has been jetting to the Middle East, at taxpayer expense, soliciting big donations from Arab oil sheiks. This is a money scam.

Muslims murder muslims every week around the world. There will never be peace when muslims are involved. It is against their religion.

The imam is one of the perpetually aggrieved class. He is constantly looking for something to be offended by. It is this kind of person who cannot - and will not - ever think through his actions and see that they could actually offend the sensibilities of someone else.

It’s also possible he’s just spoiling for a fight. That he’s trying to provoke people to the point where they attack him so he can play the victim card.
