The linked article is very confusing the way it’s written, but my understand is that the Frank family home from which they fled to take up residence in the ‘attic’, *is* the Frank family home, right?

If someone finally got around to searching it after all these years seems rather suspicious, and it also seems suspicious that Mr. Otto Frank would store his writings, photographs and papers in that attic about his search for Anna in that attic rather than give it all to Ann Frank’s Foundation.

It also seems hard to believe that during his lifetime he didn’t recall he left photographs and papers behind in that attic.

A very interesting and historical find, if true.

If this is the story about how he tried to find his family after the war I took it to mean where he lived after he was released.

Yes, it’s confusing but that’s what I took from the article.
