Just what Democrats need in West Virginia: More on the federal investigation of their Senate candidate, Gov. Joe Manchin.
We now know a major target of the federal probe into Gov. Joe Manchin’s administration and the Department of Highways is a multi-million dollar road that runs through Fairmont.
Subpoenas have been issued to the Department of Highways and the Office of Administration…The Attorney General’s office is refusing to release any information about the investigation, despite media law experts who say the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requires the Attorney General to release the information…
Larry Puccio, Manchin’s former chief of staff and current chair of the Democratic Party in West Virginia, also runs a real estate business in Fairmont. Sources believe Puccio could be part of the probe.
And just what they need in Illinois: Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr., D-Ill., newly accused of trying to buy Obama’s Senate seat.
Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. directed a major political fund-raiser to offer former Gov. Rod Blagojevich millions of dollars in campaign cash in return for an appointment to the U.S. Senate, sources said the fund-raiser has told federal authorities.
The allegation by Oak Brook businessman Raghuveer Nayak counters public statements made as recently as last week by Jackson that he never authorized any deal to attempt to buy the Senate seat.

Yeah COD dabbled in Wiccan stuff with a high school boy for two days in high school. She needs to emphasize that she is now 41 years old. Meanwhile, the rat corruption juggernaut continues unabated but what do the slimestream media talk about? COD’s high school dalliance with Wiccans over 20 years ago.

There was an earlier thread this morning on the same subject. A “social acquaintance” of Jackson’s was mentioned. Giavanna Huidobro. Jackson flew her around. Here’s what I posted on that thread;

I could maybe understand ridiculing another Freeper for not knowing something IMPORTANT, like what the U.S. Constitution says about this or that, but ridiculing another FReeper (or anybody, for that matter) for not knowing the name of a creature from a pop culture movie made 35 years ago is tacky, rude and childish.

I don’t think it was an attack on your post at all :-)! I just think they were amused by someone not knowing what a wookie is, that’s all. I doubt they were laughing at you. I personally refer to the First Lady as a “Grue”, but I also prefer other forms of fiction ;-).
I did like your response though. I loved Star Wars, but I know of some people that live, breathe, and eat that universe up and I feel for them :-)! You would have given them a heart attack :-)!
