They did. . .and supposedly the reason is; these people want to give their story 'first hand' and not have it written third hand and have it be fashioned even more to their disliking. Easier to protest as well; that they were taken 'out of context'. And of course, there are certainly those, who want Obama's inside MO known.
Knowing Woodward's Leftist favortism; would bet, that some of the worst, was not printed; and some of the bad; was made less so. What is left, is probably a 'stretch' of kindness, despite the unflattering revelations.
