He stayed in because he had a leftover piggy bank from his presidential run. He blew 21 million as a four term senator to beat back a challenger who had only 3 million to spend. When people talk about how he smoked the competition it is important to know he bought it by burying his opposition 6 to one in airtime and still lost over 40% of his own party.
He knows he is toast and this is his last hurrah. Have you noticed his wife and daughter-fellow travelers in liberalism-were quiet until now?
He'll snap back like a rubber band to be the same old same old. But with enough in the House at least he won't do too much damage.

THANKS. I still say they should vote him out. We’ll be better off and we may win other seats that seem unwinnable now. I’m always for doing the right thing and the chips fall into the right place.
