The whole article seems to “poo-poo” the notion that the DOJ has done anything wrong - or that white voters even have - or deserve - protection under the law???

It does, but just watch the second half of “Birth of a Nation” when the KKK gains control of the election process in the south. They use the same kind of intimidation against black voters that the New Black Panthers are shown on video doing in this case. Indeed, if somebody edited the two together it would be cool to watch.
They quote Allan Lichtman, a liberal professor at American University and attack dog for the left, as saying that minorities i.e. non-whites, are far more discriminated against than whites. Yet he provides no proof for that assertion. The implication is that he is correct. There is no interview with a conservative opposing Lichtman’s false remarks.
