Rep. Steve King Schools Colbert and Democrats on American Workers
Stand with Arizona (YouTube) ^ | 09-25-2010 | Stand with Arizona (Facebook)

Rep. King defends American workers against the "jobs they won't do" lies of the UFW and Stephen Colbert. Leaving aside the disastrous fiasco for Democrats that the hearing became, King delivers strong points that must be made - even pointing out how Cesar Chavez himself was AGAINST illegal immigration because of how it depressed wages for his workers. Unemployed Americans and their families need to remember on Nov. 2nd which politicians are forcing them to compete with a Third World labor market here at home, and vote accordingly. It's time to put the open borders crowd in Washington out of work, for good.

You gotta love Steve King!

So much common sense a liberal's head could literally explode!

Funny. Once the Democrats made these arguments, and the country largely agreed.

But the Democrats are now the Anti-American-Worker party, like the Globalist Multi-Culturalists they serve.

So they have lost the American working class.

Thus will end their reign of terror.

The question for the Republican Party now becomes whether they will eject their elitist, globalist plutocrat leadership, and shift to a patriotic, pro-American middle class party.

Only time will tell. But if they don't, they'll be replaced. Because one thing about Democracies...eventually the voters get what they want. May take a bit of time, but it will happen.

That slob Lofgren really stepped in doggie squeeze with this stunt. I haven’t seen a single complimentary comment from any source concerning Colbert’s appearance.

Steve King is a man that you can trust will tell the truth, however unpleasant. Would love to see him get more attention...:)

Wow! That's from A REPUBLICAN!

What did the commie 'RATS give us? A not funny comedian from Comedy Central. And they still wonder why Americans are so pissed off.

A not funny comedian from Comedy Central.

It could have been worse: an even less funny "comedian" like Bill Maher.

I’ve worked the small but tough jobs kids worked when I was YOUNG (yards, gopher on construction sites, carrying doubles at a golf course) working in all kinds of conditions - like working “the tubs” in car washes after school, in the winter, when you had to chip the ice to get the water onto the cars under the heaters.

As an adult, I have lumped slaughtered cowhides into leather factories (not bad in the winter, but really not good in the summer), deburred tractor blades; cut and stained center roof beams for Deck houses and run warehouses.

I never thought I would live to see the day that some half assed comedian who may not have ever worked a real day in his life would preach about working a field job being so tough. I would have pulled onions all day long and been glad for it when I was a kid. That SOB clown Colbert wouldn’t have lasted an hour on any of my early jobs.

Thank you Mr. King. And its good to know SOMEONE was in the room who has been there.

Colbert looked like a high school smart ass being lectured by the principal. Keep comedy at Comedy Central, otherwise Colbert, you just look like a fool...

He looks like a whipped little puppy who’s just been smacked hard for leaving a mess on the floor. Liberals get everything handed to them via government programs and “affirmative action.” None of these silver-spoon elitists who want to dictate how we live have ever worked an honest day in their lives. Democrats, Statists, Marxists, et all are despicable.

Your post made me think of the cotton pickers in Southeaster Missouri where I grew up. These were American men, women and children who hated the hard work, but took it since it meant having a job and a paycheck.

None of these illegal immigrant loving asshats ever cared about them. And gee, Mr. Colbert, how much do you pay your help?

Very impressive indeed!!!

He is always great. He wins his arguments politely. At the end there is usually nothing for his opponent to say.

I am so sick of deer-in-the-headlights Republicans who cannot coherently defend their own viewpoints. Give me a Steve King or a Chris Christie who can think on his feet, knows what he is talking about, and knows how to deliver his message.

Here is a collection of Steve King YouTube clips:
