The Gardner and Tipton campaigns respond to BATTLE ‘10 about receiving the endorsement of Palin’s SarahPAC.

Gardner expressed gratitude saying, “I’m pleased to get the endorsement since the McCain/Palin ticket won the district in 2008.” Tipton’s told BATTLE ‘10, “I am honored to have Governor Palin’s endorsement of my candidacy. She’s a great inspiration to a lot of common sense conservatives in Colorado’s Third Congressional District. She’ll be a tremendous asset to this grassroots effort to send a small businessman to Washington.”

Sarah Palin has identified 20 House seats occupied by incumbent Democrats who voted for the Obama administration’s health care bill, and now SarahPAC has jumped in behind Scott Tipton (CO-3) and Cory Gardner (CO-4)

I think that Gardner will win and probably by a significant margin. Tipton’s campaign could go either way.

Oh good G-D! What a waste. Romney won’t sell down there in the ol’ Dickie Gebhardt territory. *sigh*

IF the purpose of your inclusion of the date of Romney’s endorsement is to show that he endorsed them before Govenor Palin, you are incorrect. Back in March , these two seats were included in her original “take back the 20” map that had what the liberals claimed were crosshairs on each district, but which turned out to be surveyors markings.

Her Facebook post from March 23

The map:

If this was not your reason for including them, then, well , nevermind.

CO-7 is the fake "swing" district the Democrat dominated redistricting commission created last time around. In fact historically it trends Democrat having in it the blue collar northern suburbs. Perlmutter was considered "safe" at the beginning of this cycle. But it is within shouting distance for Republicans and Bob Beauprez was it's first congressman.

If this one goes Republican, Gardner and Tipton are shoe-ins and the Dems are receiving a crushing blow.
