As a Jew I dont think of myself as an oppressed minority or anything remotely resembling that. However, stats are stats and do show far more hate crimes against Jews than some of the folks Sanchez’ does consider oppressed (eg Muslims).

Bigotry is an odd beast. The left always assumes that flyover country rednecks are racist because we don’t live with a great deal of diversity.
I grew up in a white protestant rural township and could never figure out why I should dislike people I seldom encountered. There were several hispanic families around but they were just locals and people I grew up with. Had there been blacks or Jews I’m sure I would have seen them in the same light.
Seems to me it goes Wasps, Jews, Asians in the everyday run of the mill hate crimes, with Hispanics and Blacks pulling up the rear yet getting the most pub.
Oh come now, the definition of Bigotry has been defined by the media as “someone who doesn’t agree with a liberals point of view”
Also, another subtle definition of racism, is “someone who won’t give special treatment, special consideration, and bonus points” to anyone who is not white, Jewish or Christian.
You are in fact racist if you see everyone as equal, dontcha know. It doesn’t go far enough. You have to be laden with self guilt, and despise those of your own kind, or you are probably the most dangerous type of racist.
Oh, and if you take pride in your country, you are now a racist as well as a bigot, I forgot that one, silly me.
