Kahane outs himself in the book. He is Michael Walsh, a recovering journalist and Hollywood writer. The pen name “David Kahane” is taken from the screenwriter who gets murdered in the novel and film THE PLAYER.
I know about THE PLAYER, but I wasn’t aware that he outed himself. I didn’t read the book...lol. Guess I better!
