The 2012 presidential race begins in earnest on Nov. 3 -- the day after the upcoming midterm elections -- and President Obama looks to be in trouble at the starting gate.
A Fox News poll released Friday shows that 54 percent of voters say they would vote for someone else rather than re-electing Obama if the presidential election were held today. Thats up from 47 percent in a January poll and 31 percent in April 2009.
Thirty-nine percent would vote to re-elect the president now, down from 43 percent in January. That's a dramatic drop from the 52 percent who felt that way in April, at his term's 100-day mark.

There was a time when I thought Clinton was unreelectable, imagine my surprise...
I know, I was there.
I thought the same thing.
what I don’t get is that every Republican Obama matches up against though, he polls ahead...he only loses when it’s an “unnamed” opponent...
So now assuming that the RAT libtards are always going to be at 29% and would vote for George W. Bush if he were to run again as a Democrat, I wonder how can the other 10% be so stupid.
“The 2012 presidential race begins in earnest on Nov. 3”
It hasn’t seemed like O ever stopped campaigning and went to work. What will he do differently after Nov. 2nd?
I wonder who the 3rd party spoiler will be in 2012?
Except when he’s pitted against Bush (Obama wins 52-37) and same against Hillary. He also polls ahead of Palin.
So do we assume if we reran 2008, he gets only 39% of the vote?
Here are three things to keep in mind regarding our Dear Leader and his re-election bid in 2012:
1) The MSM will be shilling for him again.
2) The Dems (and the MSM) will be working overtime the next two years attempting to portray the (soon to be) GOP majority as evil.
3) No matter how bad the economy gets (or continues), liberals won’t leave the plantation.
Our ace-in-the-hole is our Dear Leader’s narcissism. Whereas Clinton successfully triangulated himself after the ‘94 GOP blowout, there is a very strong possibility Obummer won’t be able to bring himself to do that. He still considers himself omnipotent.
The GOP probably won’t be able to right the ship in just two years, but they will be able to block much of Obummer’s agenda. If we can then win the war of words and communicate our message to the sheeple, we’ll take back the White House in 2012.
Why are 39% of the people polled still so stupid?
I wonder how many of that 39% are able to hold jobs and drive cars etc. Are they able to live alone?
It scares me that 39% of the country, at a minimum, is that stupid.
I believe I saw one of those miserable beggars today He looked wimpy driving his 10 year old Fiat sedan with a nobama/biden sticker next to his coexist sticker.
39 percent of the electorate is the Democrat base. They are the voters who will vote for no one else but a Democrat. So, this poll demonstrates that the only people who will re-elect him are the Obama Brown Shirts.
They’re lifelong and hardened Democrats.
