As I watched the video of Lt. Col. Lakin at the bottom of this story, I realized that all of his reasons for doubting Obama's eligibility are long-refuted birther arguments, which I'm not convinced even they take 100% seriously.

I hope there's some silver lining to all of this, because right now the whole thing makes me sick.
