The GOP-aligned American Crossroads said Wednesday it has raised over $13 million since coming under attack from President Obama.
The group and its campaign affiliate, Crossroads GPS, said it had easily surpassed its initial fundraising goal of $50 million to spend on behalf of Republicans, and has increased its target to $65 million, according to spokesman Jonathan Collegio.
The boffo numbers come after a week in which Obama led Democrats in attacks on the group, which is affiliated with GOP strategists Ed Gillespie and Karl Rove. Both are veterans of President George W. Bush's White House.
Obama accused American Crossroads and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce of possibly receiving money from foreign donors and corporations to fund their electoral activities, a charge the groups deny.

Rove is still a pro-amnesty, anti-O’Donnell RINO and DIABLO along with Ed Gillespe.
Too bad Rove is a political crack-head...
Spend it to defeat him, or lose it when he takes it and gives it to your worst fellow-Americans (or not, we can’t ask them if they are legal).
Sooooooooooooo...the RINOS are raising money. Wonder where it will go?
LOL...El Bozo is the master of unintended consequences.
How much of that $13 million goes directly into Rove’s pocket?
Has it ever occurred to you Rove might have been right Christine may be a loser. Look cleaning out the Rhinos was a good thing. Alaska proven good thing, Buck good thing, Angle maybe a good thing we will see, and Rand Paul good thing. Christine not so sure a good thing. Maybe we didn’t need this particular fight. We will see.
” How much of that $13 million goes directly into Roves pocket? “
Probably 1.3 million....the rest he will use for pro-amnesty RINO candidates.
You sound like you belong on DU what has happened to the rational people on this site? Everyone is now conspiratorial and attacking sounding crazy. Geez!!!!
Has it ever occurred to you Rove might have been right Christine may be a loser.”
She is much better than Coons. Rove, the Republican Party, Weekly Standard and others did not need to dump on her when their chosen candidate lost. All it did was to provide political fodder for the dimoKKKRATS. The RINOs mentioned above are sore losers plain and simple. To this day I don’t think her Republican opponent has some out in support of her.
now turn it over to patriots.
That's easy. Zero. By coincidence, that's the same as the amount of Stimulus and TARP spending combined that actually went to a productive use. While I'm not fond of Rove, he's not a thief or a crook.
I think Karl Rove is a smart cookie..At first it bothered me about what he said but since listening to this woman going on and on about things.. I think Rove knows what he is talking about.so lay off Karl!!
Go AWAY Rove, damn you! No more of these idiots, please. Also, time to start prosecuting the Corruptocrats whether they be Ds or Rs. JAIL TIME BOYS!! ...and girls!
I agree Rhinos needed to be weeded out. With that says we have to pick battles very carefully. I really hope Christine wins, but it was not that unreasonable to have concerns about her. I listened to her on radio before she beat Castle and although not a Castle fan by any means she sounded so awful. I was hoping it was an aberration, but it appears she is not getting better. Also, so far her commercials suck!
I agree. He is doing a lot that will be helpful to defeating the commies on the left. Think everyone here is a Christine Bot many who probably work on her campaign really were somewhat unfair to Rove. His goal is same as ours and he is doing a lot financially to help out this cycle
Rove is being attacked right now unmercifully by Obama and “foreign money” allegations. Let’s hope and pray this raises his ire and he uses this money to defeat the same Rats and Rinos we all hate. I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt at this particular moment in history.
