Obama and Company trying to pull a fast one to keep his old seat in the D column?
American Spectator ^ | 10/14/10 | Ed Lasky

There is a very tight Senate race going on for the Senate seat once held by Barack Obama before his Ascension. The Republican, Mark Kirk (a military reservist)is in a tight race with the Democrat Alexi Giannoulias, Illinois state treasurer who has close ties to Barack Obama and the Cook County machine. There has been a fair amount of mudslinging between the two sides but there seems to be some mischief coming from on high. Illinois has been tardy in getting ballots out to our men and women serving in the military and thus their votes may not count in November.

WLS reports from Chicago:

The U.S. Justice Department is investigating whether the state of Illinois missed the deadline for mailing absentee ballots to members of the military and other overseas American voters as part of a new federal overseas voting law.

You haven’t seen “nothing” yet. Wait until the Chicago machine starts counting dead people and felons etc. Kirk probably doesn’t have a chance unless he has a 15-20 point lead downstate.

You guys must be happy about this, right? But I don’t think most of the other people here will be happy.

No, I want Brady to get all of those military votes coming to him.

“Obama and Company trying to pull a fast one to keep his old seat in the D column?”

It doesn’t matter who wins that race, either way Obamao is thrilled.

I’m always happy when a leftist loses.

The only excited about the possibility of electing a liberal in Illinois is you, Inyokern. If Obama put an “R” next to his name you'd be the first line to support him because it “embarrasses the Democrat”

Any reasonable person knows that Obama will be crushed if Giannoulias loses. You really marginalize yourself when you say such silly things.

You are the one supporting Giannoulias, not me.

“Any reasonable person knows that Obama will be crushed if Giannoulias loses.”

Why would he be? Because of the conservative “stalwart” taking his seat in the Senate? LOL, I doubt even you would push THAT bovine excrement.

No, I'm supporting Mike Labno. If you think that's an endorsment of Alexi that's your problem. I am voting for a conservative with a conservative platform. Nobody is going to look at the voters Labno got and assume they support Alexi's agenda.

Again, the only one endorsing a liberal is you. You can advocate for a abortion-loving, gun-grabbing socialist to win that seat all you want, but you can't pretend the rest of us want to elect such a person. Not my fault the two major parties are both slating socialists.

Gray Davis is just crushed since Ahnuld took over the reigns and carried out all his policies, ain’t he? :-)

I am supporting the guy who is to the right of Giannoulias.

By the way, who did you vote for for president? I voted for McCain. He was not my first choice, especially on the issue of immigration, but he was our nominee.

I assume you voted for Obama.

Why would I be happy?

As I have said to you before, I believe voting is a fundamental and precious right of citizens. That ballots would not be made available to all voters in a timely and orderly fashion, especially those voters risking their lives for our country, is abhorrent.

... as are your posts accusing me of things I have never said nor thought.

“I am supporting the guy who is to the right of Giannoulias.”

You are supporting a baby-killing, gun-grabbing leftist.

“By the way, who did you vote for for president?”

I had no candidate to support for POTUS.

“I voted for McCain.”

I’m not surprised.

“He was not my first choice, especially on the issue of immigration,”

Well at least you’re not a total loss.

“but he was our nominee.”

No, he was you nominee.

So, you couldn’t decide between Obama and McCain. You saw no difference.

I thought you guys were telling me that being pro-life is sooooo important to you. McCain is pro-life.

John McCain is an untrustworthy, RINO, backstabbing son of a *itch.
