It seems to me that this will be a big “to do” about nothing. They aren’t voting today in Chicago are they? And, I believe the stipulation is that candidates are the only ones prohibited from campaigning within a certain distance from the polls.

Not sure about this...What good politician/wife doesn’t press the flesh at the polls?

Early voting.

She voted today.

So, yes, they are voting today

Not so and the law in Illinois is clearly stated in the article. As a poll watcher here in NY we weren't even permitted to bring in literature for a favored candidate that might be visible to a voter so it isn't a "big to do about nothing" that you make it out to be. She should have known better and Gibbs' defending it makes me want to spit nails.

The actual law is cited, and it does not say what you claim.
No electioneering by anyone is permitted.

Nope. No political tee shirts or buttons from ordinary folks either.

So it’s ok for me to tell people at the pollng place that we need Fiorina’s agenda and how important it is to vote for Conservatives? I mean, there really aren’t any Democrats living between the 14 freeway and Fresno, so what’s the harm?
By the way, I’m 6’3” and 280 pounds so I’m not as intimidating as Michelle Obama.
