Making pot legal today will be one of the greatest mistakes in my lifetime. I know that people compare it to booze and tobacco, but look at it this way. With booze, if you drink enough of it you pass out or get sick. With pot you just get higher or stay high (and impaired)for a longer period of time. Additionally, for a long time it has been known that smoking pot will cause damage to the DNA of sperm and eggs. With the male this is not of great concern since sperm die and are created on a continuous basis, but a female is born with every egg she will have for life.
And finally, a pot smoker is an impaired driver for days compared to a boozer's hours.
